Launch Event! End of the Year Pool Party at my School

OMG, we did it!! Less than a month after designing my beautiful unicorn narwhal, my school, The Mandelstam School, gave me the amazing opportunity to sell my tennis clothing line at the end of the year pool party!

My parent were there to help me. We really didn't know if people would like it just  a bit or very much! We didn't know which products would do better than others. We didn't know if boys would like my products...The result was overwhelming! All the kids, boys, girls, 5 years old or 12 years old, loved it!! Even moms bought some knee-high socks for themselves!

It was my first time selling something, but my parents helped me at the beginning, and then I took care of it with my friend Sofia who was so so good at managing our little booth! You could really see she's used to help her mom at her store! She was keeping the clothes organized, she was managing inventory, and she was just a great salesperson!!

In less than 2 hours we sold for $1,425 of products!! The boys were very impressed I must say! My friend Leandro helped me triple check the math because we couldn't believe it!! As a result, we gave $214 to my school Parent Teacher Association!

It was really great to see everyone encouraging me so much. I was very shy about it at first when people were asking questions about my brand., and i'm still shy, but I'm more confident. Now I need to learn a lot of stuff with my father. He doesn't know anything about the clothing business, os he is learning as well, but he is an entrepreneur so he is just having fun with this little project of mine!

Now we are going to focus on my online store, and also try to get my products into tennis specialty stores in the Miami area.
